Hi
Hi Michele,
I know exactly how you feel. My husband passed away 8 weeks ago and I miss him beyond belief.
I have made an appointment to see a counselor on Thursday. I have to talk to someone or I think I will go crazy. My husband was only 63 and had esophageal cancer. I am 57. We were married almost 28 years. he was my best friend and I don't see how I can bare this without him.
Write me if you can

Agree
Yep, I agree. One foot in front of the other, one day at a time, one moment at a time. Sometimes those steps are even backward. Your world has changed forever. Don't even try to "get over" this loss in a hurry as some think you should. Do what you need to do to keep moving. Take care of yourselves. Time does help, but I still have bad days and times. Most of you are much newer to this than I am. Yet, I still wake up some mornings dreading the day. Usually it is a special day, that month day, a holiday, a family gathering. Sometimes, I don't even know why. Those days when I feel totally lost or overcome with grief don't come as often now. Be patient with yourselves. I've found that what helps me most is accepting my grief and even allowing myself to wallow in it at times. Do what works for you. Fay0 -
