    John, the link is correct
John, the link is correct when you look at it while im typing it. It's that link, but it doesn't go to the right place. This happened to me the other day when I tried to link to YouTube. Why does that do that?

Anyway, my dentist trip today had me thinking about an extra soft bristle tooth brush, the foam brushes on a stick when even the tooth brush hurts. I used to get those in the hospital. Not sure if they have them in stores. I've seen them on line.

    Not Sure
When you hover over your link, you can see something about CSN node, with something on the end after the .pdf....double check the code in your link....can be as simple as a misplaced or forgotten < " or .

Even myself, I get it wrong sometimes and have to try a few times to make it work the way I intend...

    Same exact link won't open
Same exact link won't open right here, but works on another site. I don't get it. This also happened to me a couple times sending a PM. won't work there, but if I copy and paste somewhere else, it's fine.

Thanks for the suggestions. What would these items be for? I can think of uses but not sure exactly.

    Bob

    use them like this
the ace bandage is to wrap around the torso to help hold the feeding tube upright and safely secure out of the way.

The spring clip is for holding a small towel together around the neck as you shower to keep the water off the radiation burns.

I'd add paper tape, waterproof tape, and some 2x2 gauze bandages for the PEG.

    Roz, I think mentioned lip
Roz, I think mentioned lip balm. I am now addicted to C.O. Bigelow lip balm.:

FAVORITE LIP BALM FOR DRY SORE LIPS AND DRY MOUTH

If you are putting together actual baskets I would buy 9 of these with my next check to send you to put in baskets. If you would like that, PM an address that I can send them.

Write to biotine for trail packs
The biotine reps give denists cases of biotine trail size pack. They contain mouthwash, toothpast and gel If you explain what you are doing - I am sure they would give you a case.

More items I needed that I don't think anyone said yet-
PILL CRUSHER/SPLITTER. Someone pointed this little gadget out to me today

    pill organizer
Straws (still use them to drink every day)
Package of note cards or thank you notes. I went thru tons of them because of the many cards and things people sent me
    Ear plugs

    Sweet ideas
You are the H&N kit Queen. I'm so glad I posted this question on here. I used all of these things. Still using some of them. The hardest part now is going to be narrowing it down. Thank you Sweet. I appreciate your offer of buying the lip balm also. As soon as I start assembling the kits I'll send you a pm. Now I'm thinking maybe we can offer the kits to the new people on the board also? Maybe we can take turns assembling them and mailing them out? What do you think?

    one more item
one more thing I remember I used was baby feeding spoons (rubber covered) after surgery that didn't acidentally poke something in my very sore mouth. They were even better than small plastic teaspoons.

    Kit
This kit will require a very large container! Buzz really liked the Toothette Mouth Moisturizer by Sage products. He received some while in the hospital and liked it so much that I ordered it on line. Also, Calmoseptine for peg site skin care. As for puppies and kittens, we have a new kitten and his antics have brought us great joy. Karen

    Mouth moisturizer
That is excellent. The nurses at RO would give me a package of the mouth moisturizer, sponges on a stick for tooth brushing, and a mouth rinse all in one pack. Was a great help.

    Magic Mineral Broth
    Hi Dawn,

Thought I'd give you guys a good chuckle. Vickie and I have been going to drug and health food stores trying to get our kit together. Everywhere we went, we'd ask for some Magic Mineral broth. No one had it nor had they ever heard of it. We finally figured out that it is a recipe from Rebekka Katz's book. Boy, did we feel stupid. But got a good laugh out of it. Going to the health food store now to try and find all the ingredients for the broth.
    Regards to all,
    Bob
