    It is great to hear how well you are doing! Plus being able to open your jaw much better is super wonferfull. The crying bout's happen when I least expect it also & I hate that lol! You are giving us all hope!

    Hondo,

    Like everyone else - very relieved to hear you're FINALLY shedding that infection. And the Dynasplint progress - great - I think of it as "the jaw jack" (thank goodness, never needed it - my jaw doesn't open as wide as before, but it's a very slight difference). I'm sure you know, but I gotta say that you were in lots of folks' prayers before the infection - they were prayers of thanks. Hope to hear about you biting into apples later.

    Glad to hear you are making progress with jaw opening! You must be such an amazing person to have survived two bouts of cancer. I also get a bit anxious when Buzz and I see the oncologist. There are so many bad memories associated with that office/infusion room. Buzz is through with treatment but bad memories sometimes surface. You have every right to feel sad at times but having good days will surely carry you through the bad ones. You are an inspiration to all of us! Karen

    Thanks Hondo for your kind words! I'm glad you remember Tom and me too. With so many people on this site, guess we do remember certain ones. It's hard to believe that it was a year ago in March since I lost him. I have tried to move on and with the support of my friends and all of you on this site, I guess I'm doing okay. I will never forget the 46 wonderful years that Tom and I had together. Funny, I don't even remember how I found this web site, but am so glad that I did. I hope I do help people and don't scare some when I mention the rare side effect from Avastin that killed Tom. But guess I"m just so scared of that drug, and just don't want anyone to have to go through what I went through that night watching Tom die. I still have a hard time getting the picture of that out of my mind whenever I'm in the bathroom. It was like a horror movie, only it was happening to my love.
    well buddy, I could go on, but just want to say I hope you keep doing okay. And thanks again for your kind words. Carole

    Hondo,

    So very good to read your update and these posts are so inspirational for those of us going through it now. The emotion is the same for Ron and I. We have been married 28 years and we have cried more together during these last few months than ever before in our life. I was planting some flowers in the yard the other day and I started crying because Ron could not be with me. This is one of the things we love is to be outside together. This disease does make you take a step back and appreciate the very simple things in life. Right now we do not take anything or even one minute for granted. I have followed your posts and we have gotten much benefit from your courage as well as all of the other suggestions. Thanks for being here for Ron and I and we continue to pray for only good health for you and many many more good days with tears!

    I was feeling a little down today but reading your post and hearing the good news of Greg and Roger NED report has just lit up my night for me. There is nothing like good news to make someone fell happy inside all the way to the bones.

    Glad you are doing well, I came back in to the site to see how everyone was, I went back to work full time, and there giving me a shot for 90 days, so i will be back to check on everyone, take care Dennis

    Hi Dennis \ Steve

    Thanks for your kind words, had one of those not so good days yesterday but today is starting off just great. I may need to take you up on the venting this week as my wife is going to Tampa for a week and there will be no one for me to vent too, ha ha ha. Guess one of my daughters will be giving the task before the wife leaves.
