Pete when i had my scan today I used your metaphor of the roulette wheel with the tech who was giving me my dye
she laughed and said.....ok lettem roll and let's hope for great results.....
thanks Pete.....good way to think about that big old thing rolling around
mags
hi mags,
its some pathetic childish device that helps me cope.
but hey it works, if its helps you smile a smile and someone else like the tech smile.
well its certainly worth the post.
we need more smiles and less sorrow here and everywhere.

wonderful update!lisa42 said:Hold tight
I'll be on the edge of my seat waiting for your results, Pete!
Hoping and praying that it will be good news! I'm living kind of vicariously from those who have had good news on their scans this week (Jennie and Buzz), wanting it for you too (& of course for myself!)
Hang tight!
Lisa
Hi again Pete,
Just read your updated news on the scan results... so wonderful!!!!
I am rejoicing in your news with you and also excited because you're taking so many of the natural supplements that I am & I'm hoping and praying they will have a good effect on me soon, too!
Enjoy the feeling of freedom in your good news & have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend!!
Hugs,

my prayers were answered. I think its the same god or universal force we look too when desparate. I hope he looks after us all.
love to each and everyone of us,
may today be the best day of our life,
imagine if each day gets better than the last,
now that would be a life worth living.

Scanxiety is one of the worst feelings I know. Its like being a great batsman. One more ten runs till you make a century. With us its one more scan till we forget why we are having scans. Hugs to your wife and family ,they feel it more than us. Ron.0 -

I'm so glad your results were optimal...clear as a bell sounds great!!!
My scan results were pretty good too...and Ron, I totally agree that "they feel it more than us"...my husband jumped up in the doc's office to do a happy dance when we got the good news that my tumors have decreased in size and mass.
I also got the good news that the "spots" on my lungs are likely not cancer, since they've not grown or shrunk since they were first noted. There's a node on my thyroid we will watch and there's a "shadow" on the view of one breast so I have to go for a mammogram and ultrasound to get a better looksee on that. Doc joked that he'd hate to give me three cancer diagnosis and hopes there's nothing to the breast or thyroid stuff...I'm not worried about them, personally.

I am really glad that you got good scan results; it is nice to know that the treatment is working. Make sure you celebrate.0
