    Hello
    Mark,
Hi. I never went through surgery like yours, but part of the time during and after treatment, I had a weak voice. It eventually came back (for the most part - I still have my weak voice moments, but they are just that - moments. I would think you may still have inflammation from surgery, and the swelling may annoy your vocal chords, but I don't know.

    Speaking Problem
Hi, Mark. I had parotid surgery last May. They removed my right parotid, the left half of my thyroid and 9 lymph nodes. I had a soft voice for a while, but it came back just fine. I still have a bit of a problem with some words because my lips and the right side of my face are paralyzed. I can be understood, but I look like a chipmunk when I say 'F' of 'P' sounds. So, it sounds like you are getting better and I wish you the best. I certainly hope the surgery was a success in attacking the cancer.

    Hi Mark

Sounds like possible nerve damage from the surgery, ask your doc about using LYRICA 50Mg to see if it will help.

Take care and welcome to CSN
