    so sorry...sick and lose of loved one and now a home...! I made certain as soon as our daughter was born we made will...and have updated it 3 times in 25 yrs..I know what can happen without one!

    It is beyond me
    how people act out over money when someone is deceased. I see it
    a lot in my job. I thought it only happens in dramatic soap operas but
    guess again. It happens every day in real life, money brings out the ugly
    in some people.

    Teresa, I am so sorry about your loss and that you don't even have the
    privilege to grief over your loss but have to instead worry about what is going
    to happen to you. Life really can be a b**** sometimes. But usually what
    goes down must come up, so hopefully things will start looking up for you soon

    Time heals all wounds. However there is another truth I discovered durring a loss of unfair porportions. "Time wounds all heels." One cannot hurt another human being without such action comming back to bite them in the butt. I am glad you are now in the country. May the peace of that setting allow for healing of your heart.

    I am very sorry for your lost and your situation. I am on the beginning of my journey with BC as I had been diagnosed just this year. I have also no family support and I have no children.
    Be strong and try to be positive as much as you can. Life is not fair, but we have to find the way how to get thru.

    Suggest you get yourself over to www.FreeAdvice.com where you can, for free, find a lawyer willing to take your case and put those 'kids' in check.

    I'm thinking that the lawyers you contacted locally only see a protracted legal battle and not much more. Whereas it's the lawyers that choose to be involved in your particular case on FreeAdvice.com.

    It's been a few years now but the house I'd been renting for 12 years was sold and the new owners wanted me out in 3 days. Ah, but I had a five year lease. Enter FreeAdvice.com. A lawyer contacted me and helped me to get the new owners under control where they actually ended up paying me a tidy sum to move out within 6 months! And I even got my security deposit back.

    I couldn't have done it without that lawyer which he did not charge me anything whatsoever for all of his help.

    Every case is different though.

    I know I am new here but I am very sorry for your loss and the unkind way you are being treated. My mother always says "How can THIS turn out for the best?" and once you think of it like that you would be surprised how the things that seem like they are the worst can be some of the best things to happen in your life. I know that this is very hard right now but you have to remember you are a strong woman. As for the question where do you go from here? I love the Quote from the movie castaway "I gotta keep breathing. Because tomorrow the sun will rise. Who knows what the tide could bring?" that gets me through the tough dark days I have faced. I hope it helps you too. My prayers go out to you.
