Moopy's Birthday (Wed) Balloon Release

Last week I realized that this Wednesday would be Moopy's birthday, so i sent balloons to all of my family all over the country, asking that they release them at 6:30 PM CT on the 23rd. How ironioc that this time was set by Joe. My thought was that she was so much of an inspiration to me, and all of my family has followed the CSN board to keep up with my posts as well as those that responded to me. All of them knew her through her posts, as well as Joe's when she was unable to post. So, balloons from CT to CA are going up....even one in Hawaii, Japan and Afghanistan. Lisa will see all of the love she gave while she was here, and I hope that so many balloons will go up at the same time that someone from the media notices ans asks a question. Wouldn't that be wonderful. Lisa, here we come. (Something more ironic, I have a grandson and an uncle who share her birthday as well. I sent them extra balloons to celebrate their own birthday.) She meant a lot to a lot of people.

... a large bouquet of yellow daffodils to my home. Daffodils because they're perfectly appropriate for Moopy's birthday month; and, yellow is the color of friendship & hope.

My balloons went really fast, and, I mean fast up to the Heavens. I think Lisa really wanted her birthday balloons. My husband held me, as I started crying. But, I found comfort in knowing how all of the pink sisters were releasing all colors and kinds of balloons at the same time all over the states for Moopy.
And for Joe, I know the mass for Lisa was beautiful. I hope it gave you some peace.

I wasn't able to get out to the florist before closing time, so I asked my Reggie ( who was runing errands) to please bring me a Mylar balloon home...it could be any color, and could say Thinking of You, or Happy Birthday~ but it was important to me that he bring a balloon. He didn't of course question why~ he already knew it had to be for one of the Kindred Spirits. When he got home...I didn't know if I should laugh or cry when I saw the balloon he chose! Ok, it was colorful, and it did say Happy Birthday~ and it was emblazoned with the characters from Toy Story!!! OMG~ I could picture our Moopy laughing at that silly balloon!
We went outside together, snipped the string, and did that balloon take off~WOW! Reggie said he knew that it was traveling so high so fast because Moopy had reached down to take it. And suddenly, the balloon with Buzz and Andy didn't seem so wrong...all I could hear in my heart was "To Infinity and Beyond".....and those words seemed just right.
