I HATE lymphoma

I HATE CANCER but... I love the lessons I have learned. I am NOT in control. I love all the many wonderful people I have talked to on this website, and the people who have become family in the support group HOPE that I was led to start. I love driving to work in the morning and feeling well enough to do so. I love hugging and kissing my grandchildren and knowing my immune system is o.k and I won't always get sick. I love the appreciation I feel for everyday that I am here. I love the new found appreciation for all the beauty that surrounds us on this earth. I love that my appreciation for life is so much more profound that millions of others who have not experienced cancer. I love that I am closer to my faith than I have ever been. I love that my husband and I of 40 years are closer than ever. I have learned not to swet the small stuff!!!!

That's for letting me ramble.

    How Sweet
    Dear Joanie,

Too bad, lessons from your post had to be appreciated after DX for cancer.

My opinion, the wonderful people on this site, including myself didn't need a DX of
cancer to appreciate the blessings we have in life. I have to admit I might be guilty of just a few. I do not appreciate the fact of having LOST CONTROL, and sometimes sweating the small stuff.

    Love Maggie

    Ah-ha
I been waiting 9 months for someone to bring something up that I knew something about. You use the verb "is" when you are talking about Singular nouns. You use the verb "are" when you are refering to multiple nouns. You used the plural version because you were talking about multiple messages. You were correct in the way you applied the verb to the noun. So would it be correct in saying ,How is you today? I asked the teacher this same question when I was in the 7th grade. She never did answer me. Yeehaa!!!

    Huh????
Oh geezzz John...you lost me at singular noun!!..hahaha! My math teacher would give us a word problem...you know the one...how many miles did farmer Brown go while hauling 40 chickens at 35 miles per hour, etc, etc. My eyes would glaze over and without doubt I knew I'd be getting an F for the day. There are some days I'll sit down to write a post and can't compose a sentence for the life of me...the chemo brain fog has to clear and then I'm ok....ha! Sue
