CT Anxiety ****UPDATE****

Brother John
Our doctors need to be a little more easier on us when they have us under or awake. I have an ENT scoping me a few moths ago and he would pull the tube out to fast and it would hurt bad for a while, so I told him about and he just looked at me like I should not be complaining. He is now on my S_ _ t list of usetobes doctors.
My big 5 year PET and MRI is coming due March 3 at MD Anderson so I too and getting a little worried about it, after all I think that it is normal to worry a little.
Keeping you both in my prayers

***UPDATE***
OK, I didn't mention that when I had the CT yesterday morning that I stopped by the front desk on my way out. You can request a copy of the results, and they'll burn a CD and copy the report for you for free...available for pick up in 24 hours.
Well of course pciking up the results before seeing the MD's next week was something I had mixed emotions on.
But, I picked them up at 10:30 this morning....
QUOTE "There are no signs of tumor recurrence"
IMPRESSION "No signs of recurrence of the tonsillar tumor. No lymphadenopathy is seen in the neck"
Prayers received an answered...thank you Jesus, thank you all.....

All of you are family, thank you very much....
Like others have mentioned before, since having went through (and still) this overall ordeal. I find that I really enjoy sharing my personal knowledge (through my experiences) and thoughts to those just starting, going through, and after the fact.
I try to be honest and straight forward, while throwing in some humor (just because that's me...). While it's not usually sugar coated, it is what I went through and I try to stay true to that.
The journey is rough, it can be painful, and it just plain stinks....but it is what it is. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger....adds to your character (and I'm one character for sure), it defines who you are....
It's hard for me to not have the anxiety anymore. But I guess that's only human nature. I do have faith and for KCass, I believe. But being human, I do have a hard time not letting myself think the worst when I'm not feeling well in the head & neck area.... LOL, of course I don't think I've been well in the head area for some time...
I'm one of many, I'm of the Abi-Normal Clan...
Love you guys (that includes the ladies...)
Best,

I won't really know for sure what's going on until I see my MD's next week. At least for now, I'm feeling better that it's nothing too serious, and hoping it's just irritation from the tube.
Like I mentioned, you can probably also get a copy of Mark's PET if you request it...saves on anxiety, and they are written in enough layman language you can derive the results from the information....
Hope all stays good with you and Mark,
Best,

Isn't your Port suppose to be removed this month or is it in March ?? Thought I remember you posting that it was to stay in for two years. If so, it's time to get that sucker out.
