I certainly am sad to see any prostate cancer forum fold; but, during the past five years, I personally found many more discussions to participate in on Facebook.

I think that their largest prostate cancer support forum draws over a hundred new discussion posts every week. Many new people and many, many viewpoints and recommendations are posted in reply.

While I have appreciated the knowledgeable contributions of the dedicated regulars here, I enjoy all the opportunities to exchange and learn that much more populated sites can offer.

look at all the very familiar names. I will be heading over to the mayo site as well. This is really sad and upsetting. I mean I didn’t know that it cost money to keep us going this sight here has helped me and me being able to help other people has kept me strong.

So sad to hear, this site proved to be very valuable when I went thru prostrate surgery.

I did 'enroll' on the Mayo site. My new username is OldMariner. So far I have only taken a quick look but I do agree that the site and the comments are valuable.
