Incontinence
Hello Everyone, I had prostatectomy on April 15th at UCLA. Fortunately, the cancer had managed to stay local and they were removed along with some nerves and muscles. The recovery hasn't been that bad aside from damn catheter and now the incontinence. Do you all have any suggestions as to how deal and improve the incontinenece ? I am doing as much as pelvic floor exercise as I can but doesn't seem to help. Also, if any of you have any questions regarding my procedure and recovery, please don't hesitate to contact me. Wish you all the best.

I found meeting with a Physical Therapist helped me make sure I was doing the pelvic exercises correctly.

Hi there @Zoli,
You're only a month out of surgery so I wouldn't be worried about not being dry yet. It takes time. Keep doing your exercises and look after your body. You will improve.

Try this link. Apparently removing my prostate took away my coding skills.

Hi,
As others have said your only about a month out, you still have a lot of healing to do. Nerve damage take months and months to heal. Keep doing the Kegals plus other pelvic floor exercises and hopefully month after month you will start to see minor improvements. It took me about 1-1.5 yrs. to plateau.
