Symptoms after radical nephrectomy
Hi All, I'm new here, so still learning the ropes. I am 36 years old and had my left kidney and adrenal gland removed in October. The margins were clear and I understand that I am very fortunate in that regard. I have had follow up appointments with the urologist, and my first follow up CT is in two weeks, but I was not able to get an appointment with the nephrologist until March. For the most part I feel normal, although my energy level is still not what it was. I'm hoping that over time it will improve. Two things concerning me are that since my surgery my hands are often cold, and I now get dizzy when I stand up too quickly. I have never experienced these symptoms before. I have had blood work done for the endocrinologist and it does not appear to be related to adrenal or anemia. I guess what is frustrating is that I feel as if something is not right with my body, but I am not being heard. Has anyone else experienced this?
