Hello, I'll new here. Not sure what I'm doing. My husband was diagnosed with a small choroidal melanoma on December 9, 2025. He has completed plaque brachytherapy. They also did a biopsy. We go Thursday, February 5 to get the results. They said they will be able to determine what his risk of spreading will be and how often he will under go testing. I'm his caregiver and hoping to have someone to talk to. Thank you.

My husband had his surgery follow up appointment yesterday (2/5/26). His tumor is shrinking and doc says it will continue to shrink over the next two years. I didn't know it worked that way. His biopsy showed that his tumor is Class 1A, PRAME Negative. This is in the low risk for metastasis category. We are very happy about that. He does have trouble with his vision. He had a hemorrhage during surgery and that blood is still floating around in his eye, causing blurriness. Doc says that will go away on its on. He also has a cataract in that eye. Doc says they don't want to address that right now. His eye meds have been discontinued. He has been entered into a clinical trial. That trial is studying vision preservation after radiation. Good thoughts from me to you.
