Ribbons, I also "graduated" to the yearly checkup after my last appointment. So happy to hear that you're still doing well.

I do not visit this site as much as I used to. I am very glad that I stopped by to read your wonderful news today. Congratulations all! I am only one month shy of having my 5th anniversary myself. And only six months to my 50th birthday which felt like such an impossible milestone to reach. I cannot wait to kick and stretch like Molly Shannon's character and celebrate being 50 years old :)

Like oldbeauty (LOVE your post), Kaleena, and takingcontrol, I also have recurrent endometrial cancer and after the first recurrence I had many scares, panic attacks but no recurrences. So there is definitely hope.

I wish you all a very happy and healthy new year!

Thank you for sharing this! I had my last radiation July 1st 2022. I am cancer free now but recurrence is one of my greatest fears. You have given me much hope! Praying for you and all those who are experiencing cancer treatment and those who are finished, and remembering our lost sisters/brothers. Love, Sunny

So good to come and see all the good news! Congratulations and thanks, No Time, for starting the thread, and everyone who has responded. I've had computer issues so haven't logged in often but I remember many of you and am so happy for your reports.

This month marks 11 years since my original diagnosis and 5 since my recurrence was discovered. So far I remain stable on Megace, but not NED. I asked the oncologist when I saw him recently how long I'd be on it (thinking maybe it was a 5 year thing like some others) and he said until it stops working.

Soo Good that you are on your ten year Anniversary And that you have posted it! Hope is Healing for newbies and survivors!

I find that this newer site format is not as user friendly so I haven’t used it as much. But, then again, I am now 3.5 years post treatment and my last scan for UPSC stage 1a, type 3, showed clear, as well as for thyroid cancer, also 2019.

Congrats a little late, so it’s now 10 years and and a month!

Hello, dear ladies. I have been very absent for the past couple of years, though I was active for a few years before that. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see so many dear familiar names who, like me, have celebrated big milestones. I reached my 5-year anniversary from the end of treatment on October 2. I have been NED after Stage IVB, Grade 2 endometrioid endometrial adenocarcinoma. Some days it seems impossible, some days it seems like it was all a bad dream, but all days I’m grateful for what I learned here and the friendships I have made. Like the other “old-timers,” I miss so many who have left us. So grateful for those who remain. Love to you!

    Army Wife,

I was traveling, so I missed your update! Welcome back and I am so glad to hear of your great news. Yes, we miss those we have become accustomed to seeing and wonder how they are doing. I am approaching my 5th years since dx and I am so grateful to still be here and be here! Keep in touch! We miss your face!
