Thank you both. I'll beThomasH said:For sure!
You can't expect to use cannabis and drive any more than you would be able to drink and drive. They both impair you, so you need to treat them the same. The restrictions aren't cannabis specific, but it certainly falls under the same impaired driving laws, and of course, common sense. I wouldn't want to drive after I have taken a dose, and I wouldn't want anyone else on the road who has had one either.

Thank you both. I'll be taking CBD oil in the morning and THC at night because they advise you not to drive after taking the THC oil as it does cause impairment.

start low and Yes TRU
Just start low on your dose. I had to cut each dose to half a grain of white rice and work up to a full grain. I didn't the first couple doses and slept for 18 hrs after the second dose. Was great the next day but what a nap. Now I'm taking a full dose at night and just the Cbd during the day.
The Sheriff I served for fought Cancer for over 30 years while in office. He was a good man and by the book.Even when he was at the end he came to the Office every day. One time we busted a wild grow and got several pounds, it was the only time he required all his deputies to a single meeting as we had suggested he could ease his pain with it(we were just going to burn it anyway no arrest) We were thanked for our thoughts but were told that this was a reprimand for shirking our duty. If it had been legal it would have been okay but it wasn't. This is the man I'm trying to be like and to tell the truth some days the picture of him in his wheelchair with all his staff is all that keeps me going. Funny how some things help you even though you don't know it at the time.
And yes TRU you can call me Officer Jim anytime you want! The Sheriff had a hat made just for me when I became the Jail Admin for him that said "Boss Hoag"and pronounced it HOGG, it was such a running joke that even the news paper misspelled my name when I left the job 4 years later.
This week I was asked at the Careness Center to spend a day every two weeks with some older new people who have concerns about it. I even talked to the Cheif of Police locally and we are trying to setup a training program for the local LEO's on what is legal here as they have had a couple people investigated for growing (with a license) because a neighbor called them in. Not a paid job but a purpose all the same. Our county is the 36 poorest county in the nation, has about 300 licensed people for medical 12 of them like myself growers out of 24000 total population so not a big problem but one that will need to be addressed as more people have access to it.
Jan just use that good sense I've come to admire about you, ask questions and if need be this is what the internet was to be for. Get with a good Careness Center who educate not just dispense. The one I use has all product lab tested before sale, will ask me if I had any problems with the last batch and adjust or recommend different types that take away side effects of the last dose. And not by a long shot but if you watch a show called Disjointed you might feel more comfortable with it, I know it's suposed to be a comedy making fun out of life but it deals with real issues also without being to in your face.
Well I've ranted long enough, now to two of life's great pleasure a cup of Tim Hortons coffee smuggled to me from freinds in Canada , and my soon to be 4 year old Granddaughter.Got to Love Life!

Thanks Jim! When I went to
Thanks Jim! When I went to the doctor that wrote up the Rx she suggested I start on a lower dose of THC due to never having smoked pot and not knowing how it would affect me. I'm now waiting for the supplier to contact me and then I set up an account with them and they will send the product to me. I'm so hopeful this will help. Every day feels like I just ran a marathon I'm so tired. Just sitting here right now has me short of breath. I want a life again, at least more than I have now. I want to be able to go do some thijgs with my husband who's retired and bored. I want him to get a break looking after me, I want to do things myself. If this doesn't work I don't know what I'm going to do.
BTW, my husband, also named Jim, LOVES Tim Horton's coffee. He goes out and gets one pretty much every day even though we have a Tim Horton coffee machine at home and the coffee. I don't drink coffee but sometimes I'll get a hot chocolate or a veggie soup.
