Pneumonia up-date 10-26-16

Just got back from Honduras last week and down with Pneumonia this week, man that sucks. But I started feeling bad the last few weeks down there, it is not because of the weather or anything but because not being able to swallow the mucus, so it goes right in to the lungs. I don’t know if any of you remember Denny but that was his problem, always in the hospital because of Pneumonia.

Just asking for prayer to get over this one this time.

    I had pneumonia July 2015,

    I had pneumonia July 2015, January 2016 so had to cancel my surgery, and again beginning of March, so I know how awful it is. Interesting that I had it before my surgery and radiation, and yours is post surgery because of mucus.  Hope it clears up quickly. Take care of yourself.

    Hi Everyone

     

    Sorry but the last few weeks have been hell here in South Louisiana with all the flooding. I did ok but about 95% of people in my neighborhood did not. Also my youngest daughter had over 3 feet of water in her home. Anyway the Pneumonia is still there but getting a little better, doctor wanted to put me in the hospital but because of no insurance he is trying to do it as an outpatient. This is now the 3rd time with Pneumonia and each time it is getting harder and harder to control with antibiotic, I guess my number might get called soon, I hope not but I served the Lord so whatever His will so let it be done.

    rough last night

     

    I had a lot of mucus and flem last night and seems like I was up every hour coughing it up, or trying to cough it up and out of my damaged mouth. I heard someone saying every time you get Pneumonia it makes you weaker and easier to get it again. I have stopped eating and drinking anything that would make my body produce more mucus, right now just keep me in your prayers please. I hope and pray that tonight will be a lot better.
