Stage IV NSCLC Adenocarcinoma with ALK genetic mutation
My sister-in-law has been diagnosed with cancer. She is 53 years old. It is Stage IV NSCLC Adenocarnioma. She had the genetic mutation ALK. She started on Xalkori last Thursday. I am looking for resources if any on the ALK genetic mutation. We have searched online and at a few local resources. Just wondering if anyone else on here has any suggestions or resources they could suggest?
Thank you,
Keri

your sister-in-law
Hi Keri,
I'm sorry to say I know nothing about the type of cancer your sister-in-law has. Good luck to you and your family!

Thank You Denny!dennycee said:There are many ALK patients
There are many ALK patients on the boards at inspire.com also at LUNGevity.org. If you are on FB there is a private ALK group. I send hope that this works for a very long time.
Thank you for sharing this information Denny!
