Just wanted to throw this out there. I am almost 6 weeks out of treatment. I was looking through the forum when I came upon MrsBD post about acupuncture during her treatment. She mentioned that she used a protocol developed by MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas. So, I downloaded that protocol and took it to a acupunturist. He is using the protocol and refining it to my personal situation, along with chinese herbs. I started out with twice a week and now am going once a week. I must say the results have been very good. My saliva has increased considerably and it has assisted in taste returning quickly. Thanks MrsBD! I continue to improve both physically and mentally. I am very thankful for the insights, stories and encouragement that I still find here.
