Just a quick thank you for everyone here, their thought, prayers, caring and compassion for my family (Shelley and myself)...

Im still in the hospital and on the mend.., on schedule and hope to go home sometime this weekend. 

 

Continued prayers and and thoughts for Shelley and I are always welcome..

 

With the the pain meds under control, and a bit on nausea.., we all been there.., I'm feeling better each day, but far from my abi-normal self. 

I can chase mean nurse down now..., LOL 

Went from 1/4 walk of the wing a few days ago, two laps the next day, four yesterday, and eight today...

 

Of course since my bowels are just waking up..., I always check for trails and drippings on my next lap....  Eeewww

Sorry..., LOL.., you can't cut all of my abi-normalness out if me..  Hehe

    Poo is the Ticket!

    Glad to hear you're on the mend! I recall that poo was the ticket home after my heart surgery. Fortunately, a pebble, not a dribble, was my ticket home ;) Keep up the good work and healing... the fish are waiting.

    Good to see you back up and going and being your normal you, will continue the prayers that you heal 100%. Don’t worry too much about the dropping behind just get a doggie bag and pick-up stick to take with you.

    Great news your taking baby steps into continued recovery mode. 

    love the light comedy input making us see Skiffin 16 is well on the way to being another new normal soon. 

    what next for you could be a boat race around your island. i will be rooting for you.

    If you do leave a trail, report it to a nurse.....you might be able to go home earlier!!

    Glad to hear you're now making laps around the corridors and gaining momentum every day....won't be long before this is another one of those memories.

    I'm glad to hear the good news that you are mending well and, it's great to see that you are rapidly regaining your abi-normal self.  The trail lap marking is a great idea, keeps the crowds down, and the nurses always know where to find you.

    Whats the current lap count? You could enter this as a sport for the next Olympics! Following your progress closely from Liverpool. The joy of this site is finding a capacity to take delight in people you have never met being/doing well. Keep racking up them laps until the final one gets you home. G.
