My Ian

My bravest strongest man Ian passed away on the 27th August to this terrible disease, he was taken from me far too young, I hometown him when I was 17 and he was 18, we met 38 years ago today. I have had the best of life with him and he loved me very very much, we had 2 lovely daughters and 3 grandchilren. I'm so so angry, I miss him so much, why us???? He tried for 3 years to fight and gave his very best every day, the chemo made him so poorly, he never complained or moaned once, he worked all the way through, only gave up 5 weeks before he died. Ian if you can hear me pet I love you with all my heart, and never ever wanted to be without you life is so cruel .

Dear Friend,
What can one say in a situation like this, but to say we are sorry for your loss. We ask ourselves questions that cannot be answered . Why we, why now, why so soon? This pain only can be eased by time and we have to go through the process. Can't rush it.
Just like the way he did, work through the pain and the tough times, celebrate the wonderful things and memories you and your family had and build the future without him on that.
I wish you and your kids the strength to work through this and to be able to honor his life by all of you living a wonderful, healthy life.
