Just got back from my ultrasound and the lady who did it said she couldn't see anything out of the ordinary and everything looked fine ( still need to wait for the docs to look at it properly though )
The waiting game begins again..... Will keep you guys updated! thank you again for the best wishes! all my fingers and toes are crossed and staying that way!
Hi Phil,
Sounds like the Ultra Sound didn't show anything alarming, so thats a "good" thing. Take things one step at a time and be as calm as possible. Keep us informed.
Best wishes...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

Hi Phil, I hope that your sonogram went well. I'm keep my fingers crossed that you do not have cancer. I'm am very sorry to hear about your dad. It must be such a difficult time in your life. I am praying for you. My mom is sick in the hospital as we speak with Lymphoma. She is 82 years old. She is having a tough time with the chemo. She keeps getting infections.
However, you are young. If by some chance it is cancer, there is no doubt in my mind that you won't fight it. Stay stong and do as Jim says, keep busy. Everyone here is very supportive. It truly is the best place to be.
Hugs, Emily

Thank you Phil end everyone for the sweet comments. Everyone here deserves a medal. Sometimes I wish I could do more and I do get something out of this too. I've met wonderful people, had my faith restored in humanity to some extent and I've learned alot through this experience. Like most of us, I'm still healing, have my fears, tears, doubts and pain. I definitely don't have it all figured out but dang it - I'm trying! I'm very thankful to be so fortunate and I am very grateful for everyone here.
... And when the chemo brain ends and I find that winning lottery ticket I misplaced, we're all going to France for chocolate crepes!

Hi Phill,
I will be praying
Hi Phill,
I will be praying that everything turns out okay with you. I have a friend who is in a similar situation as you and I advised her to bug her doctor to do more testing. She has 3 swollen lymph nodes on the side of her neck below her ear. So far the doctor has given her an antibiotic (hasn't helped) and ordered some blood tests. He called her and said the blood work was normal. She's scared and concerned just like you, so she made another appointment for this afternoon. I will be sharing this discussion with her because all of the advise on here is good. I hope and pray that everything turns out okay for both of you. Keep us updated.

my doctor just told me that he's so sure it isn't cancer that he would bet his car on it ( but that was just his opinion not based on anything )
Still awaiting Ultrasound results and new pain develoled at the side of my tummy =/ feels like a trapped gas pain and im hoping that's just a side effect from the codien they are giving me ( makes me incredibly constipated )

Hi Jim,
I pray you find that lottery ticket. I'm need a vacation. We are back to tough times again. My mom is back in ICU. I spent the entire weekend in the Hospital. I slept on a cold floor Saturday night while they set her up in ICU. I noticed her breathing was not right and before you know it her blood pressure dropped. Her age is making it very difficult for her to fight infection while on chemo. Hope all is well with you. You seem to be doing great.
Hugs, Emily

Hello again:
Just remembered one other test I had last year after meeting the Oncologist: An Endoscopy, which turned out OK. Think I am getting forgetful/jittery because I have an appointment with that doctor Tuesday, tomorrow. Just thought I would post the tests I had in case you might be interested.
Hang in there and I hope you will have a good "snooze."

Ultrasound results came back with nothing out of the ordinary no sign of tumors or lymph nodes other then my neck and groin they are sending me home today and if my glands are still up in 3-4 weeks then i need to go back and see my GP and start the whole investigating thing all over again....... kind of mixed emotions about this as they still haven't given me valid reason to why they are up in the first place but they seem fairly confident it's nothing to worry about.
I will keep you guys updated on whatever happens and i thank you all for your time, kind words and support.
Your an inspiration to all whos lives have been shaken by this terrible illness and thank god you are all here for eachother
Many regards, Phill

Hi Emily,
I'm so sorry your mom is having such a rough time. I'll keep you both in my prayers. I think the older we get the harder it is to bounce back from treatments. You are such a good caring daughter. Take care, and rest when you can. Much love to you and your mom...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10-age62)

Hi Phil,
Well....I'm glad you are going home, even though the problem hasn't gone away, but just try to take it a day at a time and keep a close watch on the swollen glands. Hopefully this will turn out to be nothing serious and shortly the glands will go down. Keep in touch and let us know how things go with you. Best wishes to you...Sue (FNHL-2-3a-6/10-age62)

Hi Phil,
It kind of sounds like a viral bronchial infection, but I'm no doctor, so if I was you I'd be calling the doc back or heading in to the ER. Six years ago I had a terrible bronchial infection which required a 5 day stay at the hospital being pumped full of antibiotics, prednisone and oxygen. I had terrible chest pain, cough, headaches, and swollen neck glands. Sounds totally like a viral infection to me. Let us know what you do. Hang in there...Sue
