Matchframe - What a cool idea; your signing your artwork. Plus it brings more awareness to kidney cancer. I'd be interested to learn what you go with, just in case I happen to run into one of your vehicles on the road. I couldn't find the exact bracelet we initially ordered for our Kidney Cancer Walk but it's very close to the pics I have on my expressions page. And I'm about to place another order.
Tex - you'll be pleased to know these type of bracelets for kidney cancer awareness were my idea in lieu of the jellies that John disliked. I bought them inexpensively and gave them away to his many suppporters from golfers to family to my college niece and nephew and their friends.
And not only is it an awareness issue, it's the feeling of support for the cancer victim. We have been to an array of social/family/business functions since May, and can't tell you how often we walk into these events to see numerous attendees wearing the orange bracelet. I know it touches John as it does me to see to see all these people there saying, "I support you." It's a wonderful sense of camaraderie.
My nephew designed and paints this logo on the cars I rebuild. http://csn.cancer.org/user/175461/view/expressions
I talked with him over the weekend and he is designing a new logo that will include something with a Kidney Cancer Awareness. I told him I really don't want a ribbon, but something to add to the existing logo which will have an orange Kidney Cancer Awareness on it. Not sure what he will come up with, but I will share it here when he does.
Just a background on the what is in this logo, My shop is called Big Dog Garage (Not Jay Leno's, I had my name first. ) I was an Air Force Brat and my Uncle flew B-25s In WW2. I wanted a logo similar to the B-25, but modern, hence the jet engines, and I wanted my dog's face to be the nose of the aircraft.
I am anxious to see what my Nephew comes up with.0 -

Sounds exciting and something of a first for this forum, but entirely appropriate in raising awareness in a uniquely eye-catching way. Can't wait to see it!0 -

It's an awfully long way from here - would I locate it by Triangulation?
I just had an email from Kidney Cancer Assoc., and there were Orange ribbons on it for decorations and to promote the fundraisers that some members are doing (independent of Relay for Life or other local events.)
But I also bought a beaded bracelet a few years ago, with 1/2" colored beads and silver spacers, each color representing a specific type of cancer. And you guessed it, the one they designated for kidney cancer was "pee green".
Most appropriate!
Have a good one.

I just recieved t-shirts that I ordered from "Cafe Press" for our family to wear at our local relay for life event. I got some decals for my husband's wheel chair too. They have lots of designs.
Good for you for staying so positive. I don't think I'd be capable of doing so after all you've been through - an appalling history of (another) criminal deception by military authorities!0
