Okay Clint - "MAKE OUR DAY". Stomp it!
Did I ever tell you your attitude is AWESOME?
Alice, you're embarrassing me. "pshaw.". I hope you got my last pm. I'm so impressed with your support to me and all of us here. I consider you a close friend. Now we have to "spice" up your dirty jokes a little. Thanx for being here. Good luck John. You know John has a special wife. I know how fortunate he is. My wife is special also. Actually, Today is our 37th anniversary! Love you. Fox.0 -

As I've said before, you are our resident RCC badass! Best of luck to you. KICK ****!
--David
Probably not. It's just my Harley talking. I get a little jealous when I see you on your bike. I used to live for my bike. But through the years as time got less available, I parked my bike and ran more. I miss my bike. Anyway, thank you. Fox.0 -
Thank You Jackie.JackieP125 said:SENDING LUCK
I am keeping you in my prayers as you have been such an inspiration to everyone on this site. I am amazed every time I read your posts. It is apparent to all of us that CANCER PICKED THE WRONG PERSON when it picked you. Keep us posted on your progress. We have all grown quite attached to you Fox.
I have been very lucky. My up to now success has little to do with me. I have an excellent medical team who have the right skills. I'm just the dummy who never saw this coming. Now us bikers need to band together and "represent". Kidney cancer can go find some other whimps. We snear, snarl, and give the skink eye to cancer. I'm in a fighting mood now. Thanx Jackie. FLY.0 -
Bump in the road?jam66 said:you'll kick it!
Hi Fox. This is just another bump in the road. I know you'll kick butt. I'm thinking of you and sending good, healing thoughts your way....
Jennifer
Bikers don't like bumps. They get in our way. But they don't slow us down. Thanx Jenn. I aappreciate you sharing your motivation and healing thoughts. We do this together. Fox.0 -
You've got me beat.donna_lee said:Power UPppppp
Looks like you've got the gang cheering for you. Eyeryone concentrate your good wish messages to Fox.
But at least you could take your car to the Doc...think what would happen if a dog couldn't lift his leg.
Donna
Donna, you are so far ahead of me in spitting in cancers eye. I'm only slopping up a good snot wad but you have launched and grind it in cancers face all the time. I'm sure we could share some good laughs at a "kegger". People would think we were nuts. And right they would be. My ability to cope uses you as an inspiration. You are as tough as they come. To some, I tip my hat. To you, I lift my leg. Love ya. Fox.0 -

Fox,
May this be just a slight delay in your riding days ahead.
Icemantoo
Thanx. I rode quite alot this year already. A little break doesn't hurt. Stay on board so all of us can see that we too can live to a hundred like you. We all really appreciate you hanging out here with your experience and knowledge. You prove that kidney cancer is not a death sentence. Fox.0 -
My mind alright?tacyarts said:Fox
It sounds like your mind is right Fox, now go kick a little ****!!
Well tacyarts, my mind is missing a few cells but I haven't missed them.It makes for a good excuse. Just can't stand the ECHOES! My 7 yo granddaughter came up to me last week. She held a piece of paper next to one of my ears. Me, my wife and my daughter wondered what the heck she was doing. Then she blew into my other ear. She then tweaked the paper as if the wind went right though. That was really funny! Thanks for the motivation. Fox.0 -
anti-P1 trialpjune127 said:Fox~
You are on my mind. I am still waiting to hear from SCRI about the anti-PD1 trial that I am supposed to get in. They should call me sometime this week to set up a time for me to go to Nashville. I can only hope and pray that my results are as good as yours. It's a shame the Inlyta did not work for me, but I believe everything happens for a reason and this will allow me to participate in the clinical trial.
I hope and pray the radiation zaps the crap out of your mets! Keep us informed. I'm cheering you on. You are my role model.
XO Paula
Paula - Really hope that call comes and you join Fox's AllStar team. What happened to the pic you had up earlier? He is beautiful!0 -

You're absolutely right (except that we can't have our sophisticated Alice getting too risqué).
Congratulations on your Anniversary Foxy; we're 2 years behind you. Have a great day!0 -

"....Damn, I just lost a half hour of typing. I was so eloquent too. Excellent Star Trek references. Can't do it twice."
We've all been here before, Fox. [But \\ //] Shucks, it pains me to think I'll never be able to see that Star Trek episode!
A while ago I posted some advice on not losing postings - so frustrating if one has taken time and trouble to write at length - but I overlooked the fact that what applies on a Mac doesn't necessarily work on a mere Windows PC. Now that I'm temporarily condemned to working on a machine with a Micro$oft OS perhaps I can remedy my earlier advice.
In Windows 7 (which many of us currently use) it's easy to avoid the disaster you (and, as a result, the rest of us Trekkies) suffered. When composing your posting, simply right click on your text and from the menu that comes up, select "Select All" - that should highlight your text in blue - then right click on that highlighted text again and this time select "Copy". That will save a copy (invisibly) to your 'clipboard'. If, when you post your comment, you're unlucky enough to lose it, you've got a copy ready. All you need to do is open the reply box again and right click in the empty space and select the "Paste" option. This will copy your posting back from the clipboard. BINGO!!
The clipboard can only hold one item at a time - it overwrites whatever is already there. So, if you're writing a long post, keep doing the same operation (it only takes a second or so and is so well worth it). For instance, I've just clipboarded this posting after "BINGO!!" and will do so again when I've finished writing this post to ensure I've saved the final full version.
Since the clipboard can only hold one item, if you have occasion to use this method of resurrecting a lost post, you'll need to type your subject title back in - if you saved the text and then, as an afterthought, went up and copied your title, you'd lose your copy of your text - ouch!!
Fox, since we all value your posts highly I'd be grateful if you could confirm that this works for you. If so, we can all rest easy and relax knowing we won't miss any more Star Trek refs or other pearls that you cast before your fans.0 -

Good luck today Fox with the infusion and perhaps the zoledronic acid. Incidentally, did you ever drop acid? I can imagine it. I see the rebel getting out. You as The Wild One - Mildred asks Johnny what he's rebelling against and gets the unforgettable reply "Whaddya got?" Hell, you even look like the (young) Marlon Brando!
[Amazing to think that the actress (Mildred), Peggy Maley, had a bit part only 2 years later in the totally different, sublime, smuggling movie "Moonfleet" shot in sumptuous colour and set in 18C Dorset (S.W. coast of England) by one of my favourite film directors, Fritz Lang. Great cast, incl. Stewart Granger (forced to change his real name of James Stewart, for obvious reasons, by Hollywood), the always suave and dangerous George Sanders, the ever-bewitching Joan Greenwood, Viveca Lindfors, the delightful young Jon Whiteley and astonishingly way out of his familiar wild west outlaw roles, good old Jack Elam!
I suppose The Wild One and Moonfleet have one thing in common - pondering the character, morality and springs to action of anti-Establishment characters, whether 18C English smuggler or 20C biker gangleader. Maybe both, charisma aside, somewhat far-removed from a loving, caring, 21C Little Rock PT - ?]0 -

Oh, I'll be riding shortly. We have a ride planned to the Berkshires where we get a rueben that is so big it is served on an open plate. Plus it is at a brewhouse. Just down the street from Alice's restaurant. ( not too many members here will be familiar with Arlo's thanksgiving anti war protest song.) Besides, I don't want a pickle, .just want to ride my motorsickle." Thanx Gary. Fox.
You know, if I ever get a tattoo, maybe it will be "x's" at my radiation sites. Good idea.
anything you want, at Alice's Restaurant...What I want is a healthy fox for another 30 years or so, we'll take a year at a time after that. Save a bite of that sandwich for me, I love ruebens.
Good luck today,

Tex, I've learned to copy all my texts to avoid losing them. It has saved many a post. But in this case I was responsible for hitting the back button or some such thing and I erased all my writing. I had Scotty beaming those buggers to Romulus and just about ready to have Worf kick ****. Those damn Ferrangis. Can't be trusted.0 -

Wow, the colors man. The colors. Gee, this food tastes sooo..good. Wow, the colors man.. We don't expose too much about the late 60's and 70's on the internet. But like they say, "If you remember the seventies, you probably weren't there." "Watch cha got?" love that line.0 -

Positivity or delusional? I just want to live to be as old as the Iceman and Wedgie. I can't imagine having been here long enough to have known Fred Flintstone on a first name basis. In my case I want to see Justin Beiber collect social security.0 -

Yeah! Hitting the back button to check something or hitting the Post comment button at a bad time, before you've saved your message is fatal (unless you're using a Mac!). You have to get into the habit of always saving before you do anything else. Do you save it the way I suggested above? It's the quickest and easiest way, I believe.0
