Got 2 Husqvarnas! 610 and 450! But this is a different challenge for somebody on chemo my friend!.
Cool, XR400 (honda) for the trails here. (Plated & street legal) Which will be going on a couple rides this weekend. No camping this time, just ridin. Lil bbq later.
Have a safe labor day everyone.0 -
Finished chemo #12 of 12 so...........
I will be actually going to the store with my family - which I have not done in 8 months to do food shopping. I am making big changes in my/our diet (plant based etc...). So we need to fill the fridge. We didn't eat "bad" before but now we will eat a whole lot better.
I am thriled to be done with the 12 chemo treatments. I have first set of scans on 9/18. Since I had clean scans when I started I feel ok about them again. The follow up colonoscopy is in Jan. I will always be "nervous" and aware that reoccurance is always there but I am trying not to allow it to take over my every thought. I discovered something over this last year - cancer really sucks!
My Wellness Program starts in Sept. 8 weeks of personalized exercise program and Yoga....Ahhh Yoga.
I told my Onc I will do everything in my power to make sure this does not come back. Diet, exercise, de-stress. This is my goal!
Everyone enjoy the weekend - even if you do not feel good, allow yourself time to do or think of something non-cancer related.

If I get recovered ok after my October surgery and the following additional Chemo, I'm going to get a new KTM to replace my Honda CRF450 for my recovery present next year!0 -

Congrats on finishing chemo! I just completed #4, haven't missed a dose yet. 8 more to go, you did it so I will do it! I am having a CT scan in September also. Good luck on NED, may you stay that way forever!
