You will find your strength
I remember the nerves I had before my mastectomy, so I am not going to tell you to relax. What I will say is that it will be over soon, but until then, take deep breaths, stay busy, and say a calming prayer from time to time. I am on that pink bus with you!

I'm praying for you. Everything will be fine have trust in your faith and family. One day at a time. I had a double mastectomy 4 weeks ago and it was fine, back at work after 3 weeks. Think positive. Let us know how you're doing.
Hoping your surgery goes as well as possible and your road to recovery is swift. -

I am sending you lots of prayers and light energy. Just surrender to God and your surgeon. It is out of your hands. It's hard to trust and let go but you're doing the next right thing and that's all you can do.
Big Hugs

Hi Belinda, Was your surgery
Hi Belinda, Was your surgery today or next Wed? Either way,'m praying for you. I CANNOT imagine what you're going through. I did not require a mastectomy. I DO know that one of the biggest battles we face is our emotions. Those can be the real enemy...fear, depression, anger etc. I'm sure you've already experienced these and more. Only God knows exactly what we're feeling and thinking. How this disease is efffecting us physically and emotionally.
The way I chose to understand it is that I can go through this one of two ways. I can get through it, bite the bullet, have a stiff upperlip, stuff it all deep inside in order to put in a strong front for others, be a survivor, wear the Tshirt OR I can be completely honest with God and tell Him I hate this, I'm afraid, etc and after venting to Him, Ican again. by faith in the great God that he has already proven Himself to be (cancer or no cancer), I can chose to let Him use this to bring something beautiful and lasting in my life or the life of others. Do I believe that's how He works? Absolutely. He loves us and uses even the ugliest things like disease to make something beautiful. Notice I didn't say He brings the disease...no He just uses it. Hope something I said helps. I'll be praying for you. Love , Victoria (madsters) -
