Today was MaMaG's Birthday - for those of you who 'knew' her here - sadly, she passed on Feb 7 of this year - keep a special thought of her today and say a prayer or send all your positive energy to her loved ones - who are surely missing her, especially today. Much love to her family -

    I think of MaMaG often. She was one of the first to welcome me to this site 2 yrs ago. Will always miss this very special lady.

    MaMaG .. was truly someone who lift you spirits anytime of the day! A WARRIOR taken from us .. too soon.

    I imagine that MaMaG is up in heaven, giving lessons or starting a Rock and Roll band -- while sporting her 'PINK' punk wig.

    Prayers as well as positive thoughts going out to her loved ones, and extended family.

    I was thinking of her the other day, she was indeed a rare gem and her talents behind a camera were amazing. Happy Birthday Mama G I am sure there is a party in Heaven today!

    Mama G was wonderful. I miss
    Mama G was wonderful. I miss her too. We finished chemo at the same time we were neck n neck. Remember her rock star outfit and picture? her students must have loved her!

    Mama G was a sweet and sassy lady! She had a great sense of humor and always made us feel that nothing was too big that we couldn't handle it! Rest in peace, dear Lorraine!

    I did not know her but it breaks my heart to know another of our sisters is gone. I'm sorry I didn't have the pleasure to know her. I pray for her love ones. It's very difficult to deal with the loss of a love one, even years later...and specially today.

    MamaG was absolutely a beacon of light and love not just here on the boards, but everyplace she went, and to everyone she touched. An accomplished photographer with a special love of surfing and ocean photography, she was a valued member of the "water community"~ I can only imagine how much her friends and family are missing her right now. Blessings to all of MamaG's Kindreds everywhere~ this beautiful lady will remain in out hearts forever.

    Mama G always made me laugh
    Mama G always made me laugh with her pink punk hair! I know she loved the ocean and loved to take pictures of surfers especially. She was very well known for that.

    I didn't know MaMaG but wishing her a Happy Birthday.She is in Heaven watching over us.From what all of you say about her personality I wish I would've known her. Sounds like a fun loving person. Her family is in my thoughts also.
