Surgery on Friday.
Anyway thanks for reading. Just wanted to put this in words to a group who can understand.
On the upside I get symmetical and perkier breasts (can't wait to go buy lacy bras), the hernia bulge corrected and 2 weeks of NO work, lying on my back, watching TV and eating bonbons with my 12 year old waiting on me and friends dropping by ........ huge contrast to my typical days:) Hmmm... I like this thought better.
much love to you all.

Bon Bon's Yummy!
Mariam being the human creatures we are sometimes no matter how hard we try we cannot clear our minds of the turmoil. You will be in my prayers, you're gonna do great and hey perkier breasts are a big plus! I went the expander route and was quite pleased with my new happy breast! You rest up and let those friends and family take care of you! Now go out and buy those bon bon's so you know you will have plenty on hand for your relaxing period.
Hugs to ya!!!

Do you get a volume discount for all that?skipper54 said:Sending positive thought your way

Girl, you sure know how to cram in as many surgeries into one trip to the OR as possible! I hope you asked them for some kind of volume discount, or buy-1-surgery-get-1-surgery-free deal, or maybe buy-3-surgeries-get-a-free-toaster -- something?
Let us know how everything goes when you can -- and, most importantly, enjoy the downtime and pampering!
(I'm just not sure a woman who's just had hernia surgery should be cramming her face with bonbons...but who am I to judge? :-)

good luck
My husband had hernia surgery 3 weeks ago. He had to not lift for 2 weeks and nothing over ten pounds for 4 weeks after that. So they won't let him go back to work for total of six weeks because they don't have light duty. It went fine and he's feeling good. Good luck on your surgery and I'll be thinking of you.0 -

I'll be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. Bon Bons are definitely the way to go - maybe dark chocolate with vanilla cream inside? Or Gum Drops? I'm sure you'll make the best choice!

Thank-you for all your words
Thank-you for all your words of encouragement that will certainly be with my on Friday and during recovery. I really appreciate it.
I haven't yet stocked up on the bonbons (yes, dark chocolate somethings) but I did load the freezer with mini unbaked croissants flown in from France.
Traci, I will watch how many bonbons and croissants I eat so I don't balloon out and create another hernia. Besides I have lost 43lbs over the last year and really don't want to put that back on. My daughter said, since I won't be able to do much and she will be cooking she will restrict my diet. Dang!!0 -

It sounds to me like you will be in pretty good hands. Why I giggled so much reading your post and all the comments I don't know. But damn it if we can't be humorous with each other life could be so grim. Congrats on the weightloss and I say enjoy those bonbons... I'll be thinking and praying for you on Friday.

...is that, as long as the bonbon doesn't weigh over 10 pounds, she can lift it into her mouth without any problems? :-)

:-) Traci
Ten pound bonbon I would be in heaven! In fact I wouldn't have to lift it, all I would need to do is to get my mouth close enough to eat it.
Toblerone. I am now stocked up on Toblerone of every kind I could find. I hope I don't stress anything breaking off the pieces:)
And Traci, I am going to ask the Plastic surgeon if I can get a buy 2 surgeries get 1 free or perhaps be can throw in a 'remove the love handles' or reduced the hips for free.
Feeling way better thanks to you all!!0
