Update..Low platelets and WBC's any suggestions?

    When I was in the hospital with a neutropenic fever (fever or unknown origin with very, very low white count) I was told that Neulasta would only work on those counts right after chemo. They just had me on high dose IV antibiotics for the infection of unknown origin and it was a waiting game for the WBC to come up. They did not have anything to give me to elevate the WBC. Maybe some of our health care professionals here have some advice.

    Anyway, you're in my prayers to get started on treatment soon.
