    Cookout
    Tomorrow we'll be kind of hanging around. Practice with my children's choir in the afternoon. Sunday will be church, and that afternoon we're having a cookout for church. We'll be at the farm owned by 2 of our members, and there will be games, food, and music. Should be fun!

    Working/PET SCAN
    I am working right now (I work the 7 pm to 7 am shift, Michael has a PET scan schedualed for this morning, then I will sleep and come back and work all night again. Sunday, church with the family when I get off work, and then my weekend starts because I am off until Wednesday.

    My husband and eleven other
    My husband and eleven other men went golfing. Apparently play was really slow because it took them 10 hours to play 18 holes. Lisa

    Carmen was fabulous!
    And we got to hear Toreador twice, as there was an emergency during the first run. A patron took ill; all performers had to leave stage, and we had to leave the auditorium. A half hour later, we resumed with a reprise of Toreador (you can't have that too many times) and the show went on. (The ill patron was taken to the hospital - don't know what happened.)

    Carmen was performed by a young (24 year old) performer with an incredible voice, and incredible understanding of the role. Boy, were the men loosening their collars as she danced and sang seductively!

    Lots of fun (and I introduced a friend and her daughter to opera.) A lovely day! (Just hope that the ill gent is okay.)
