Great pic John! It just made me realize how lucky I was NOT having to have my neck dissected. It was a wake up call, that so many have it worse off then me. I haven't been posting because it was too sad to see, that this has so many new members each day. It is a blessing to form friendships that I would never have had. I am grateful! God bless! Patty0 -

PattyAnny,
Wow - what are the odds your doc would have the same diagnosis as you? Thanks for coming in again - good to hear you're thriving. Keep it up.
That's what I said Pam - Wow! I just thought, he had to go to work everyday and treat patients. I had the "luxury" to lay in bed with all those wonderful side effects. It hit home it many ways! Hope all is well with you Pam! Thanks!0 -

I did not realize how radical that surgery was Roz! I posted here because I don't want my family to worry, but it was so shocking that it could have been me with the a DOUBLE radical neck dissection! Here I am concerned with growing my hair to cover my rad burns on my neck, and there is this man, with a huge dissection, and no hair. How vain and selfish of me! It just brought me back to reality. Both he & I discussed how much our priorities have changed! It makes me realize, I am a work in progress. I have learned so much, but have a long way to go! I don't ever want to take my progress for granted, and this was a great reminder. Thanks Roz! You are an amazing person, and the admiration is mutual! Love Patty
