Awesome
That is wonderful news. I'm sure that when you have the next scan it will even be better. Sounds like you are on the right regime for your journey back to health. You will be fine. Prayers every day.

males
Our male counterparts hate to say they had shrinkage, sometimes though, it's a "good thing"

Shrinkage?
Lemme tell you about "shrinkage'.....
Cold showers are famous for this Male phenomena !!
(not that there's anything wrong with that)
Let me be the first to hope your "shrinkage" is totally
unlike the male malady, and is permanent!
(Me? Mine manages to grow back to it's usual
miniscule design, but that's another story.)
Best wishes for great health!!

all so much for the replies.just to clarify things for those of you who dont know me well. i am female but the reason i choose my avatar name is because that is the name of my paint horse.he is the very first horse i have ever had and he is one of the loves in my life.i have a picture of him on my expressions page.as for the shrinkage wording i thought it would be fun to put it that way.we all know we need the laughs and smiles around here.pepe i have had 4 treatments of iritatecan+avastin.i dont know how much as far as specific numbers goes on the shrinkage we were just told the tumors were shrinking in size.once again thanks everyone for your support...Godbless...johnnybegood0 -

That is wonderful news! I am so happy to hear and so grateful you shared. I am in limbo at the moment waiting for an appt for my post chemo scan so your news gives me strength and comfort! Cheers to you!
Love and hugs, Gail
my news can give you strength.i have a question for you.my hair is really thinning and with me doing another 2 months of this iritatecan+avastin i just know i am destined to loose it all.how is your hair situation?did you decide to shave it all off? i remember you posted on this before and if you did shave it off at what point did you make that decision? i dont have actual bald spots yet but it is really thinning and my scalp is showing in places.you can pm me if you want to....thanks....Godbless....johnnybegood0 -

My hair only continued to thin. I have places that are thinner than others...on top in the front, the crown, and by my ears are the worst. It got to where I felt I didn't like it to show so that's when I did the cut in this picture and went hat shopping. That was about a month ago. Soo.....since then I have cut it two more times! Now I have a boy haircut. lol....I am not going to shave as it thinned enough to go really short but I felt ok about not shaving. I cut it short so that when it does begin to grow back it will be more even and not look so shaggy. I may even trim it again an 2 or 3 weeks and so on until it is all the same length.
Whatever you decide it will feel so much better! I felt so thin and ugly. I felt like the cancer and chemo was in control so I took charge and didn't care what it looked like when I finally went to the salon. And I know when I see the ladies with very short hair or bald I sooo look up to them and admire their inspiration. I know if they can do it then so can I. And so can you
Love ya, Gail0
