cheat sheet for acronyms

Since I'm fairly new to all of this, even though I've lost many family members to different forms of cancer, I see lots of acronyms that I don't know what they mean. Is there a cheat sheet posted anywhere that might list different acronyms for words/words for acronyms?

Mets ?

You mean the baseball team? Yeah, GO METS!

The non-word, non-acronym: "mets" is the short, lazy way of
saying "Metastasis".

There are some cute ways of saying or typing things that seem
to defy gravity, so don't get too overwhelmed when you can't
figure out what someone is referring to, just ask them on the
board, and let them explain.

"Mets" is included there..... FWIW.

Mets:
Mets means metastasis, i.e., I have mets to the liver means the colon cancer has metastized (spread) to the liver.

Ned - No evidence of disease
Nead - No evidence of active disease
PA - Physician's assistant
RFA - Radio frequency ablation

If there are any others just let us know. It takes a while to learn all the lingo.

thanks everyone for your information. I printed a copy so I'd have it handy and I think (not sure) that I saved it as a favorite here so maybe I won't have to be a pest again.
