Hi Pete,
Hoping and praying all goes well for you with the reversal surgery/bag takedown. It will be a process to get your body used to working the right way again, I hear, but I know you will tackle it well. What a great milestone!
Let us know how it goes, of course.
Cheers,
Lisa
the high temps are a bummer, i think they will settle soon.

To spend your last night with that darned bag.... I remember MINE... the seal broke about 3 o'clock in the morning, but walking into the bathroom to clean myself up I had a smile on my face, mumbling to myself, "I don't matter b%$$#h, you're going away in a matter of hours anyways"
It's gonna hurt Pete, but it's WELL worth it, in my opinion at least
dammit you were right, its hurt like hell off and on.
its well worth it.
my arse ispretty numb i never realised before.

Hope everything goes to plan!!
Best wishes,
John

the bodies always throw a spanner in the works. i appreciate the sentiment. ellie is smuggling in my tea to hospital as well as my juice. what chance does the infection have? none i say.

darren gold wonder surgeon popped in to admire his handy work.
Probably no food for 2 to 3 days. No point rush goto let intestine heal.
peristalsis has to happen in its own time after intestine nerve damage settles down . our bodies ar marvellous.
No appetite either but the food smells good. This saint vincent hospital has great food. It bugs me that everytime i stay i cannot eat. The joys of colorectal cancer.
Ha ha ha
lots of friends big surgery, not to many this time around, glad i can post and read.
took 30 hours for bp to stablise and for pulse to go from 45 to 85.
thanks for the kind wishes.
Hugs

Jeez, I feel quesy over the lots of blood statement, but then, I've always been a wimp, I can look at my own no problem, but someone elses? I tend to faint. When my daughter got her ears pierced many moons ago, I feinted, yep in the mall, what a woman!!
So I'm hoping not so much blood out for you (if that's a good thing that is)and I'm happy that your temperature has broke, as that had me a bit worried.
Go to sleep,(you don't want me singing the "hush little baby song", to get you to go to sleep, trust me, I only use it as a threat to my children and now grandchildren) rest that body of yours.
