    Jennifer, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your friends family. So sad. I too went thru something similar at the time I was dx with stage 2 BC a coworkers husband was dx with lung cancer 1mo after me. Sometimes we had our chemo together which gave helped give each other courage to get thru it. He died within 4 months after we started chemo. I was really hard on me but mostly on my coworker of course; they had a 17 yr old daughter, and he died just months b4 she was to graduate HS. It too was so sad. Many of us went to her graduation in his place.

    I am sorry
    for the loss of your friend and coworker. I remember years ago when a coworker got stomach cancer and he died within the year. Some cancers are still devastating and I wish research would find some cures.

    Oh, I am sorry to hear about
    Oh, I am sorry to hear about your friend passing away. It is heartbreaking, but I pray God comfort his family and surround them with warm, kind, and loving people who will be part of their lives and offer their support.

    I lost a very dear friend last September to breast cancer. She was like a Sister to me and we met at the infusion clinic. This disease is so cruel. Hugs to you Jennifer.
