Newbie
I was diagnosed on January 20 with breast cancer. The following week had a lumpectomy took out 3 nodes and cancer was in part of one. Already had first treatment with a total of six. My fiancee and I had plans to go to Florida in April to get married. We are now getting married in town with family, but still hope we can go away. I don't have any questions, just want everyone to know that you are in my prayers. WE WILL SURVIVE!!!

I am so sorry that you are going through this, but your wonderful attitude will help no matter what you face. Hope you get to Florida after the wedding. You are in my prayers too. And, just to bolster your fighting spirit, I wanted to let you know that I have survived 24 years after Stage 3A (large tumor, 4 nodes). Keep fighting!0 -

Thank you for the encouragement! It is a fight but with family and friends I keep going. I did have an issue with an infection after the lumpectomy, but it has passed. Taking one day at a time. God Bless you with continued good health.0 -

Good for you. I think the mental part of this disease is more than half the battle. Good luck with your treatments. With your attitude, I would expect complete success and that trip sounds very do-able.
Keep us posted. We love good, positive news here!

Geo welcome to this wonderful board!!
Just stick around and you will be amazed by the advice
and support you are given on this site.
I am very happy that you are not letting cancer ruin your plans.
There's a great video on Youtube called "chemo bride". I loved it
and the story behind it. It is about a writer and fiance who still go
forward with their wedding as she's undergoing chemo.
Keep us updated throughout your treatment.
