First of all congrats ,it seems he is doing very well!
How long he is been operated since! Colon resection can bleed a little if surgery is still recent, second what maintenance chemo is he having some of them cause some bowel bleeding , not important but must speak to doctor, also avastin is a powerful vasodilator ,hope is the word in English, and tends to cause hemorrhoids very often!
Hope it helped!0 -

Hi Sandi,
Please do contact your Doctor's office. They have probably had this question before and will be glad to answer you. You will feel better after speaking to them. Please keep us posted.

BUT !!!!!! better to be safe than sorry, and I think the CEA being so low indicates hemmarroid as well.....many blessings and hopes of a quick completely free diagnosis.....buzz0 -

Not to cause any undue fright for you, I do feel I have to tell you that my diagnosis came after I left a bowlful or bright red blood in the toilet. Please call the Dr. and have this checked.
*hugs*

My husband is much better - he has no pain. He is due for chemo next Tuesday, so he will speak to the doctor about it then. He only has the problem a few days after chemo, so we are thinking it has something to do with that. But he will talk with her about it anyway. Thank you all for your concern.
