I am so sorry you have to go through all this stress. It's stressful enough dealing with diagnosis, treatments etc. etc. .... so ... we shouldn't have to worry about the doctor's office paperwork. They should be able to handle that ... wouldn't you think? Try not to be scared ... and know we feel your frustration.... and you know you can come here and vent anytime you want.
hugs.

Pat sending BIG cyber HUGS to you. Try to have a good weekend and please check back with us to let us know what the doc has to say.0 -
@pat vent away
you are right you can vent here...
MAYBE they really did lose , misplace or spilled something on tests/ films...
keep us updated..0 -
It can happen..
If it helps...I've worked in medicine for years...records can and do get misplaced and/or lost....they would never use that as an "excuse" to get you in for more testing....that would not be ethical....
I so understand the sick and tired of being sick and tired!
Wishing you better days,

The good news about coming
The good news about coming in on Monday is less waiting, maybe the doc just wants to alleviate some anxiety for you. I hope you can push this to the back of your mind and enjoy the weekend.
More hugs for you,

First I would like to give you a huge warm, soothing hug.
I know exactly how you feel, being sick and tired of being sick.
And the natural instinct is to withdraw and lick your wounds. But
please don't stay in the hole for too long, it's tempting I know.
This is the time to pamper and soothe yourself. Your body and
soul are going through very trying times. It's hard to incorporate
some pleasure when all you seem to be doing is going from
appointment to appointment with about of anxiety and hopeful
anticipation in between. So you have to step outside of this
cancer box and realize your body and soul need you to care
for them. When you feel bad go treat yourself to that CD you
always wanted. Cook that meal that you never had time to
cook before, go outside and look at the sun and trees and
remember better days will come. The way you feel really
effects your physical health.
I hope you feel better soon.,
Hugs,

Pat I'm learning how hard it is to wait and having to deal with stuff. With wanting you in earlier, I learned really quick that my doc will push up appts as much as possible to avoid the waiting and the mind wandering to places it doesn't need to go so here is hoping the same is for you. Di0 -

For the support ladies - I need hugs. The oncologist's office just called and has the results of my bloodwork, but wants me to come in on Monday instead of Wednesday. Now I'm just plain scared.
Pat
I am hoping all of our hugs will get you all the way through the weekend and enought left over to go with you to the doctor on Monday. Try not to worry about going in sooner, at least you won't have to wait as long and you can begin whatever treatment they have planned sooner too.0 -

You can crawl into a hole-just don't stay there! I am sorry that you are feeling so down. I am sending positive thoughts and heartfelt prayers your way!

Don't apologize for venting, you know why we are here. Hope you are taking it easy and trying to enjoy your weekend.
Keep us posted.

I have read on here that some people have trouble getting their counts up after chemo. that this happens for a least a year afterwards.
Try not to read into anything. You cant tell from what they do, what is going on. They have no idea how they scare us. They need a course on cancer patient 101. I am sure they did lose your films, they should be embarrassed. Perhaps he had a patient cancel and moved your appointment up. My doc is changing my appointment all the time. Try to not let your mind go "there" let us know we care and are there for you.0 -

Hopefully they are just very efficient and want to start helping you Monday and that is all it is.
Hugs and prayers for you, pink sister.
