Some relief from nerve damage/fibromyalgia perhaps

Just thought that I would throw my 2 cents in here regarding pain topics that could be related to past cancer treatments, chemo or rads.
I found about 7 years ago (treatments were 20 plus years ago) that all of a sudden I was waking at night with pressure point pain in my hips and ankles, sometimes arms and legs. I would toss and turn all night trying to get comfortable but never for long. I tried 7 different mattresses that I bought but had to send each back as none relieved the pressure points.
I saw an ad for a tempur pedic mattress that said it relieved pressure points so I bought one on a long payment plan as they are pricey BUT slept through the night for the first time when I got it. Ever since my sleeping has not been disturbed due to pressure points, stress will keep me awake but the tempur material seems to really help pressure points.
I was diagosed with fibromyalgia years ago which is nerve related they feel and arthritis and nerve damage is strongly suspected in general from my chemo drugs and maybe even radiation long ago.
This isn't meant to be a ad for tempur pedic but the material in the mattresses seems to help my nerve pain and so thtought I would put this out there.
I have seen where you can actually get a tempur mattress to try at home for a month or something as it is a big investment, I think they make you buy a mattress cover to protect their product but you would want that I would assume.
Of course as with anything else new you should chat with your doctors first to make sure your condition would tolerate this kind of mattress first.
Hope this helps someone else as much as it did me.
Take care.
