    Ron the fight against cancer has come a long way and there are many survivors here. I lost my father-in-law to colon cancer and I had cancer five years ago and recently reoccurrence. Everyday I thank God that it was me and not my wife or kids. Despite what we with cancer go through I believe it is much harder on them. My wife and family never lets me give up and there were plenty of times I wanted to do so. We all have sat there with tears and disbelief with the news good and bad. The fight for you and her has begun don't let cancer win! We are here to help no question is out of bounds and even angry rants find a place here. We all have done it! Sorry that this has happened to your family. Lou

    Ron,
    Breathe! just keep breathing! Your life is going to change and it will be a roller coaster ride! But as you can see, there are so many of us that are still battling or just quietly reflecting on what we have endured while we continue to be monitored. The day they tell you "you have cancer" changes everything. We all know that feeling, and are there for you and your wife! We talk about everything here so don't ever hesitate to ask a question to us, even if you think it is too personal or too gross. We have helped each other talking about everything for pooping to sex. Cance invades all aspects of your life so be prepared! But you and your family can get through it, take it one day and one step at a time!
