Good news with my numbers

Just had my CA125 results from my 2nd cycle of Carbo/taxol. It was 220 (down from 449) so I am over the moon. Carbo/taxol is really suiting me as after the first 5-6 days of feeling a bit nauseous I feel really well and have been able to go back to work and even back to the running clu :)

    Carbo/taxol is the BEST!
    I'm soooo happy for you! The advantage of a longer remission is that you can go back to the GOOD stuff, the stuff that has the BEST % of success, and that's cabo/taxol for most of us! I recurred too soon to do carbo/taxol again (plus my bone marrow couldn't have taken more of it so soon), but I sure wanted to. I was so glad when you were able to go back on the carbo/taxol. I believe that it will shoot you back into another long remission; that's what I see happening when women can go back on it. I'm really delighted for you, Tina! Looks like CA125 is an excellent marker for you, too. I'll bet you'll be in normal CA125 range in 2 or 3 more infusions! GOOD STUFF!
