I haad hernia surgery on Nov 1 and was out of work for 2 weeks, my doctor thought it was ok fro me to go back to work so I did but I only worked half days the first week back. Like everyine else says just listen to your body. After 8 weeks I stil get twinges in my abdomen every once in awhikle if I try to do too much.
