Hi Kate,
So sorry sbout your dx. Not sure if this will help because it was so long ago and not quite the same for me as you. I had rads first in 1989 for HD. Unfortunately, I was hospitalized w/side effects (esphogitis) and tx was delayed for awhile. Back then, they did not have meds for nauseau and I was constantly throwing up...Then 5 yrs later, 1 month after the birth of my daughter, I was dx'd w/a recurrence. I had ABVD and was able to take care of her for the most part. Just felt like I had the flu the first few days after a treatment. As you know, we all respond differently to treatments and hopefully they will not be too harsh on you.0 -

I am taking the ABVD right now, and i have been able to take care of my little boy like you did with your daughter. I am not undergoing radiation yet, so I was just trying to be prepared. It sounds like a lot of the time you do both at the same time. Thanks so much! It is nice to have support from you!0
