Thanks kindred spirits for all your encouragement and support. My surgery went well and I am a little sore but anxiously awaiting going to my PS tomorrow to get this wrap off. Compared to the lumpectomy I had in 7/09 and the bilateral mastectomy in 8/10, this surgery fits right in between the two. It's been a long road but I believe I see the "new normal" in sight. I'm just taking it easy and will be back in full force very, very soon.

I'm going to spend a few minutes catching up. Then, I'll continue to rest to encourage the healing process.

    I'm glad to hear your surgery went well! I was thinking about you yesterday when i was in the hospital! I'm doing my checking in too & will be doing some resting of my own, i just wanted to let you know I'm glad everything went well with you on Monday :)
