The Cancer Survivors Network (CSN) is a peer support community for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and friends! CSN is a safe place to connect with others who share your interests and experiences.
I feel so blessed...
One of these wonderful women has scheduled a reunion "girls night in" at her house...specifically to show support for me. She checked with me, and scheduled a time around my treatments. We're all getting together on Monday to catch up, and share food and stories. And I am so looking forward to it!
So, I think, one of the things I'm learning again as a result of this journey is the value of friendship and how amazing true friends are.
Hugs for all of you,
Linda

This is what I found to be
This is what I found to be the gift of cancer. So often we think only of the bad--the challenges, the losses, the fears--that cancer brings. Yet it brings gifts, too, if we have the eyes to see them. One of the most valuable--if not the most valuable--is the renewed and new friendships.
Enjoy your special night, Linda!

I hope you have a wonderful time. I also had a support mothers group when my 31 yr. old was from 2 to age 5 when he started school I didn't go much more after that. Actually, I started the group. It went for another 10 years after I faded out. So much fun! Enojoy the evening together.
Hugs,
