Dear Judy, by the end of the day your port will be in place and ready to do it's job towards survivorship! Try and be brave, the porcedure itself is nothing compared to some of the stuff we've already had to go through. You will be gratefull to have it! Love..hugs..and prayer..comming your way alison -

from one baby to another...WAAAAHHHHHHH! That's how I felt too. By now, you have your port. It's sore for a day or 2 then it just becomes part of your body. It's really the best thing to do so you won't damage your veins.

i remember that feeling so well. turns out the port was a breeze and i was soooooo glad i had it. watching others go through all the pain of injection for infusion was so sad.
