Ileostomy for me. Take down about 6 months ago. I had a hard time after my take down and wished I had my bag back. Things seem to be doing better for the most part but it's not the same as before. But just happy to be NED and ALIVE!!

I had a temp colostomy from
I had a temp colostomy from June 08 to Feb 09. My cancer was up far enough where the resection did not involve the rectum. The take down was not a problem, in the hospital a week. Recovery was fine- some urgency issues the first couple of weeks, but overall not bad. Not any problems since. -
