Hi Kathy, this trial is withkathybd said:New trial
Jean If you don't mind me asking, which trial are you starting? My husband will be starting a new one, soon; but it's an infusion and he was originally told it was a pill.
Thanks,
Kathy
Hi Kathy, this trial is with Dr. Pamela Munster- drug called GSK2126458- they said about 20 people at UCSF are involved. What is your husband doing? How is he handling it? How often does he go to SF? Best to you. Jean -

So sorry it's taken so long to reply. Thank you for your info. I am pretty sure that's the one my husband was too late getting in to. he is being treated at Stanford under Dr george Fisher...love that man! The study he will hopefully get cleared for, is called
OMP-21M18, manufactured by Oncomed.. It targets cancer stem cells. This is a Phase 1 clinical trial for a humanized monoclonal antibody called OMP-21M18. We are hoping this will either stop further cancer metastisis, or slow it. He is getting all the pretesting done now; and we should know more next week.
I learn so much from this board and appreciate everyone and all the info given.
Best of luck to you and I will be watching your progress.
Kathy
