Since 1100 this morning, wife got weaker and could barely walk, and babbling got worse, and more PAIN all over. ONC wanted brain MRI, but local ER does not have one, waiting on transfer order to ER where we were on Monday. Preliminary spinal results, CANCER in the fluid, but more tests being cunducted. ONC beginning prep work on chemo for this, because this high priority. Have to talk to UCLA, but most likely this will disqualify her. Will keep everyone posted, and will keep my faith, read Psalm 6 and that gave me a boost. Thomas

If they will let you bring in music I suggest you give it a try with speakers that are LOUD!
The music they played for me I couldn't even hear over all the beeps and weird sounds of the MRI. My prayers are with you at this time.... Please keep us up with what happens. -

A very good psalm indeed, thank you for sharing it Thomas. I am so sorry to hear of your wife's most recent trials, cancer is such a beast! Trust that you both and your loved ones will continue to be in my prayers and I promise to lift your wife in special prayer. I wish I had that magic wand I would wave it over us all.

My heart so goes out to you, your wife and the family. It seems like so much is happening so fast so I am going to ask a very difficult question. Have you talked with Hospice? It does not have to mean that you are giving up or giving in but they have services available that might be needed by you and your wife. I know that this is a terrible thing to consider but it might be good to at least talk with them. Hope I am not offending you or anyone on the board. I know that this is all so horrible and my prayers will continue to be with you for whatever lies ahead.
