So sorry!
Dave,
So sorry to hear that your wife only has a little time left. Just be there for her & let her know you love her. It's not going to be easy to lose her. I lost my husband in March and still have a hard time going on without him. We were married 46 years.
How long has she been sick? Be strong and you'll make it. Hope you have relatives and friends who can give you support. I'll say a prayer for her! "Carole"0 -
I wish I knew
Dasave I wish I had the answer, Words are so hard to find. I want to help but words are not easy to find to comfort someone at this time. Just know we are thinking of you and praying for peace for you and your wife. I wish I could hold your hand and say all the right words but I fear there is no words that would be right.
I am Sorry that we can not be there to help you thru all that is happening.

Not Easy
Dave, I am so sorry you are going through this. I lost my husband of 42 years in October of last year. Those last few days and hours are hard and you cope as best you can. I don't think there is any right or wrong way or any easy way. Some how we get through it. I was lucky to have strong family support and our pastor was also there part of the time. I think that made it a little easier. I hope you have some support, too. I held my husband's hand, told him I loved him, and told him it was alright to let go when he was ready. That was the best I could do. I know you will do your best for your wife. Prayers. Fay0 -

Hello Dave and welcome to you and your wife. I love your profile pic. What a cute bunny! God bless you both and give you the peace you will both need at this most difficult time. I know hospice is helping you deal with this. Hospice is wonderful. Cherish each day, each moment. Give each other lots of love. Dave know that you have been a wonderful husband, a wonderful caregiver. You have done the best you can. Your wife knows this. I was a caregiver for my dad. He passed away in March from ec with mets to the liver. I have been where you are. Tell her how much you love her. Give her your blessing. Know that you will be together again and spend eternity together. Until you meet again....

Hugs to you Dave, the others have given such wonderful words of advice. I agree with Tina, cherish each moment of each day you have. Don't leave anything unsaid. Thinking of you all.0
