My Dad is now at peace

My Dad passed away yesterday evening at 7.30pm. He was sleeping peacefully in bed at home with Mum and I at his side when it happened with his favourite ipod music collection playing softly in the background. While we are struggling with our loss like anyone does we can gain some relief in the fact he is free from pain. I know he'll always be the guardian angel on my shoulder.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. It's a great comfort knowing he was with you and your mum when he passed on. It's so hard to lose a parent (or any loved one for that matter), but you are right he will be looking over you, just as I know my mum always is.

    I am so sorry you lost your father. I am sure you are right about him being your guardian Angel on your shoulder. I lost my father almost two years ago and I feel him near at times.

    I am glad that your dad had a peaceful passing with his loved ones at his side.

    I am certain that he will be there to watch over you and your mum.

    While we morn the loss of a loved one we have to celebrate their life and the love we shared.

    I am very sorry for your loss, I hope the fond memories of your dad will help bring you peace. Grief is such a hard journey, it takes you where it wants to take you and you have no choice but to go along. I still miss my mom every day and look forward to the day when I join her in Heaven. {{hugs}]

    We are so very sorry for your loss. I lost my father about 9 years ago and still miss him. I do feel him around me though, like an angel. I'm sure your Dad will do the same for you.
